Abdominoplasty/Tummy Tuck

General Abdominoplasty Information: The extra abdominal skin and fat can be surgically removed and the abdominal muscles can be tightened by the abdominoplasty procedure. Generally in major weight loss patients the circumferential abdominoplasty is recommended to address the excess skin that extends around to the back. If a standard abdominoplasty is performed the patient may be left with what is referred to as, “dog ears” which are basically extra skin at the sides of the waist. The tummy tuck surgery can be performed by using a variety of incisions depending on each patient’s surgical needs. Generally the incisions are placed in areas that can be hidden by undergarments and clothes. At your consultation, Dr. Corbin will evaluate your needs and discuss your personal surgical plan to give you the best overall result. Like all operations there are surgical risks associated with the abdominoplasty and these will also be thoroughly discussed.

Brachioplasty

Brachioplasty General Information: Brachioplasty is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the arms of individuals in who wish to correct this aesthetic deformity. Candidates for brachioplasty are usually those who have had extreme weight gains and losses or have developed laxity due to age. The brachioplasty removes lax skin and fat and places the scars in locations that can be hidden within the armpit and under side of the arms. Like any surgical procedure there are risks and benefits that will be discussed at your consultation.

Breast Surgery - Mastopexy

Breast Lift General Information: The breast lift or mastopexy is a procedure to reshape the breast and create or restore a more youthful "perkier" appearance. In some cases it can be combined with an augmentation to increase the size of the breasts while reshaping them. In some patients a breast lift can be done through an incision next to the nipple-areolars only. In others it may require a combination of incisions depending on the degree of drooping or ptosis of the breast. Dr. Corbin performs 5 different types of lifts: Crescent, Circumareolar, Vertical, Inverted T, and the Spair. The operation and /or set of incisions that will give you the best overall appearance will be determined at the time of your consultation. Dr. Corbin’s surgical goal is to give his patients the prettiest breast with the least amount of scarring. As with any surgical procedure there are potential risks and these too will be discussed at your consultation.

Thighplasty

Thighplasty General Information: thighplasty is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from either the inner or outer thighs of individuals in whom liposuction alone will not correct the aesthetic deformity. Candidates for thighplasty are usually those who have had extreme weight gains and losses or have developed laxity due to age. The thighplasty removes lax skin and fat and places the scars in locations that can be hidden within the bikini line. Like any surgical procedure there are risks and benefits that will be discussed at your consultation.
